Applications
Areas of application for the balcony angle profile with drip edge:
The balcony drip edge profile has a wide range of applications, especially in the construction and maintenance of balconies and terraces, where it is used to create the perfect finish for these external surfaces, both from a technical and visual point of view.
The integrated cover of the drip edge profile, available in 18 mm and 60 mm sizes, offers comprehensive protection for the visible part of the balcony structure.
Another advantage is the avoidance of unsightly streaks on the cover. The integrated drip edge guides water away in a targeted manner so that it does not run down the fascia and stain it.

How to install the drip edge profiles:
- Select the appropriate height of the balcony angle profile drip edge:
As the tile adhesive is slightly thicker, it is important to select the profile 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of your tile. Pay attention to the height so that you achieve a clean, flush result for your tile finish. - Applying tile adhesive:
The first step is to apply tile adhesive to the substrate, which has been cleaned of dust and dirt, using a notched trowel. - Attaching and aligning the balcony angle profile drip edge:
The punched leg of the profile is now pressed into the adhesive bed and aligned. Once the balcony angle profile with drip edge is in the intended position, the leg is fully embedded in the adhesive. - Attaching the tile:
The tile is now aligned and pressed into place at the same height as the top edge of the profile and with a joint of 2 - 3 mm to the profile. - Filling the joint:
Finally, fill the joint completely with grout.
The profiles can be shortened if necessary.
Butt-jointed profiles or corner pieces are joined together with the balcony angle profile drip edge connector.
