Straight edge tile trim - simple and aesthetic:

When laying tiles, the correct finishing of the edges is of utmost importance. Angle end profiles come into play here. They are not only functional, but also provide the most elegant finishing touch to your tile work. They are the most popular and professional solution for protecting the edges of your tiles.

They are also easy to install. Angle rails can be shortened with the appropriate tools. The appropriately cut profiles are simply embedded in the tile mortar. The profiles are also easy to maintain.

We offer angle profiles in a variety of materials and heights. The lengths are 1 m, 2.5 m and 3 m. For a comprehensive selection of L-profiles you are exactly right here! We have more tile trims in other shapes in our shop.

The materials of our l shaped tile trims:

You can choose between aluminum, stainless steel, PVC and brass. Depending on the application, the materials have different advantages:

Aluminum straight edge tile trim

L-profilesmade of aluminum are available with different surfaces. Anodized profiles receive a thin protective layer through a chemical process. Powder-coated profiles impress with their uniform appearance. Of course, there are also natural angle profiles made of aluminum with us.The different methods of surface treatment allow for a variety of different colors and designs. These are primarily used indoors. Contact with copper should be avoided.

Stainless steel straight edge tile trim:

When it comes to stainless steel profiles, a distinction is made between V2A and V4A stainless steel. The difference lies in the composition of the stainless steel. Stainless steel profiles are used both indoors and outdoors. V2A profiles can be used for all conventional areas. They are durable and resistant to moisture and corrosion. In addition to natural profiles made of V2A stainless steel, you can also find brushed or polished angle rails with us. Angle end profilesmade of V4A, on the other hand, are used when the profiles can come into contact with chlorine or hydrochloric acid.

PVC straight edge tile trim:

The cheapest alternative are angle profiles made of plastic. In addition to the price, another advantage of PVC profiles is that they are available in many different colors. Of course, however, they are less robust than profiles made of stainless steel, aluminum and brass. As a result, they are mainly used in areas that are not subject to heavy loads.

Brass straight edge tile trim:

Brass profiles guarantee a visually unique tile finish. The patina that develops over time provides individual charm. L-profiles made of brass, very durable and robust. They can be used in a variety of ways indoors. Care must be taken to ensure that they do not come into contact with acidic cleaning agents.

Available heights of our l shaped tile trims:

In our range you will find heights from 2 - 30 mm. The small heights are ideal for vinyl floors. For patio tiles you will find what you are looking for in the large heights. When it comes to the height, it is important that it is selected 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of the tile or panel. This ensures that the tiles are flush. This buffer is necessary because the tile adhesive adds a little extra thickness. If it is too low, the tile will protrude and not be adequately protected. If the height is too high, it can create a tripping hazard.

Straight edge tile trims in use:

Angle profiles impress with their simple design and are available in different colors, materials and surfaces. Just as versatile as our selection of angle profiles are their possible uses. Here are some practical examples:

L shaped tile trims for pre-wall elements:

The finish on tiled wall elements is one of the most common areas of application. All materials can be used for this. However, aluminum or stainless steel should be used near wet areas. In order to lay these profiles around the corners, they must be mitred.

Straight edge tile trims for stair steps:

For tiled stairs, angle profiles are the most efficient protection for your step edges. Above all angle profiles made of aluminum or stainless steel are recommended for this purpose. Due to the material, these are more robust than PVC and therefore provide better protection for the tile steps. The robustness of the profiles is crucial due to the higher load on stairs.

L shaped tile trims on balconies or terraces:

Angle end profiles are available in heights of up to 30 mm. This means they can be used for particularly thick panels. Our stainless steel profiles are recommended for outdoor use. The material is corrosion-resistant and therefore better protected against the effects of the weather.

L shaped tile trims in the shower:

For tiled niches, our L-profiles made of stainless stee sre prefectl. If processed correctly, these are not susceptible to rust due to the material and are therefore ideal for use in wet areas. Angle profiles made of stainless steel with a brushed surface also fit perfectly with our shower profiles. For the corner areas, the profiles must also be mitred.

Straight edge tile trims between floor coverings:

As a subtle demarcation between tiles and other floor coverings, angle end profiles are the best solution. The narrow visible edge ensures a harmonious and discreet separation of two floor coverings.
