The Y-shaped balcony profile is particularly suitable for balconies with a gravel and chippings structure, but can also be used in conjunction with drainage mortar or pedestal supports.
Thanks to its special drip edge and drainage openings, the profile is also ideal for use in combination with the DR80++ drainage mat, for example.

How to install the Y-shaped balcony profile correctly:
In general, the profiles can be shortened using a hacksaw or flex (low speed).
The corresponding connectors are used to connect two profiles or a corner piece with a profile.
Installing the Y-shaped balcony profile in a conventional mortar bed:
- First prepare the substrate (remove dirt, level out if necessary and incorporate a gradient)
- Seal the substrate.
- Apply hydraulically setting tile adhesive to the balcony edge using a 4 x 4 mm notched trowel.
- Align the profile in the tile adhesive bed and embed it.
Screwing the Y-shaped balcony profile to the screed:
- Prepare the substrate as usual
- Seal the substrate
- The support leg of the profile has pre-drilled points that can be used to screw the profile to the edge area.
Loosely laying the Y-shaped profiles:
- Again, carry out steps 1 and 2 of the previous installation methods
- Depending on the further structure, the profiles can also be laid loosely. The weight of the panels will then hold them in position.

Caring for the profile is easy. Regular wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient to remove dirt and dust.
Aggressive cleaning agents should be avoided so as not to damage the surface coating.
