DURAL brass straight edge tile trim:
For areas where tile edges are exposed to extreme loads or heavy use, our DURAL angle profile brass is ideal. This robust profile is a reliable tile finish, especially in industrial operations where the use of chemicals is possible.
There are no special corner pieces for the profile, so they have to be mitred in the corner area.
Even in demanding environments - with the DURAL angle profile brass, tiles are protected in the long term and still have a visually appealing finish.
Select the profile height 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of your tile covering.

Processing
Processing the DURAL brass angle profile:
- Selecting the correct height of the DURAL brass angle profile:
Ensure that the profile is selected 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of the tile. This buffer is necessary as the tile adhesive will spread a little. - Applying tile adhesive:
First remove dust and dirt from the substrate and then apply the tile adhesive to the appropriate area using a notched trowel. - Attaching the profile:
Now you can press the DURAL brass angle profile with the punched leg into the adhesive bed and align it. Then embed the leg completely in the adhesive. - Attaching the tile:
The tile is now aligned flush with the upper edge of the profile and with a joint of 2 - 3 mm to the profile. - Filling the joint:
The joint is finally filled completely with grout. If necessary, the DURAL Angle Profile Brass can be shortened. A hacksaw, for example, can be used for this purpose.
