Our profiles are made exclusively from aluminum. The anodized layer makes them corrosion-resistant and highly scratch and impact resistant. You can also choose between titanium or silver anodized. In contrast to the plastic edge protection, our worktop profiles are much more durable and robust. You benefit from an ideal solution for protecting your worktop. The profiles also impress with the fact that they are particularly easy to clean.

Plastic worktop edge trims:

You can also often find edge protection profiles made of plastic. They are a very affordable option. However, you have to make compromises when it comes to durability. They wear out more quickly and the material becomes brittle over time. Our aluminum worktop profilesare the better solution if you want to protect your edges from damage and wear in the long term.

The heights of our worktop edge trim:

Heights available are 9 mm, 11 mm and 13.5 mm. Perfect for common tile thicknesses.

As always, remember to choose a height 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of your tile.A profile that is too low can result in the edges of the tiles remaining unprotected and becoming damaged more quickly. Choosing a slightly higher profile height ensures that the edges of the tiles are securely enclosed and optimally protected. The tile adhesive compensates for the difference and ensures a flush result.

Areas of application for a worktop edge trim:

These profiles are mainly used in kitchens as edge protection for worktops. Here, the edges of the worktop are finished in a visually appealing way and protected from damage.
