Installation of the MyVarioLine substructure set:
- Determine the height of the finished tile covering:
To do this, take into account the finished wall area and the 2% gradient of the planned screed. In addition, the height of the subfloor including insulation, screed thickness, wall/floor joint and planned tile thickness must be taken into account. - Adjust the height of the sealed base body:
Use spacers to adjust the required height for the gutter. - Shower drain assemble:
Now the gutter without the design grate is screwed onto the yellow, sealed base body using the assembly aid and tightened. - Placing the gutter system:
Cut out the screed in the shower area and align and position the channel to the planned height using tile adhesive. The gutter body must be completely level. - Check drain:
The drain is now connected to the pipes and checked for leaks. - Finishing the screed:
Then underline the drain and lay the screed with a 2% gradient towards the gutter. - Sealing the gutter:
After the screed has dried sufficiently, the sealing sleeve connected to the gutter is properly incorporated into the surrounding sealing system. We also offer products for sealing in our shop. - Laying tiles:
The tiles can now be attached to the professionally sealed shower area. If necessary, the height of the structure can now be adjusted again by placing additional spacers in the base tray under the channel.
