Decoupling and waterproofing membrane Area of application:

This combination of waterproofing membrane and decoupling mat has been specially developed for areas with high moisture exposure.

The waterproofing and decoupling membrane is also perfect for use under ceramic and natural stone floor coverings, both indoors and outdoors.

Also ideal as a waterproofing membrane under one of our drainage mats.

How to install the aluminum cover profile:

As already mentioned, you can choose between a drilled, an undrilled and a self-adhesive version, whereby the installation varies depending on the version.

The profiles can be easily shortened with the appropriate tools.

Processing self-adhesive cover profile:

1. First cut the profile to the length that suits you
2. Make sure that the surface to which the profile is to be glued is free of dirt
3. Press the profile firmly into the intended position

Processing drilled cover profile:

1. Shorten the profile to suit you
2. Place the profile in the intended position and mark the floor/wall through the pre-drilled holes
3. Drill holes in the floor/wall at the markings
4. Drill appropriate dowels into the freshly drilled holes
5. Screw the profile in place

Processing cover profile undrilled:

1. Shorten the profile to the correct length
2. Predrill the profile at the intended points
3. Place the profile at the intended point and mark the floor/wall through the predrilled holes
4. Drill holes in the floor/wall at the marked points
5. Drill appropriate dowels into the freshly drilled holes
6. Screw the profile in place
