Processing

How to install your patio gutter:

The DW Drain galvanized steel façade gutter is installed in several steps:

  1. Shorten the gutter to the required length:
First, shorten the gutter to the required length. Only use tools that are completely clean. Also make sure that there are no flying sparks.
  2. Prepare the substrate:
The substrate must now be properly prepared. If the gutter is laid on a sealed surface, an EPDM protective film should be placed between the gutter and the seal. If the channel is laid on gravel, ensure that it is properly compacted so that the channel does not sink.
  3. Placing the gutter:
The gutter can now be laid loosely or glued onto the prepared floor.
  4. Attaching the end caps:
These are simply pushed onto the ends of the channel.
  5. Remove joint material residue or excess adhesive:
If adhesive or joint material residue has accumulated during installation, remove it with a soft sponge and clean water. Never use cement residue remover.
Care advice

How do you maintain your façade gutter?

Regular and proper cleaning is the only way to ensure that the gutter functions properly. Only acidic or alkaline cleaners should not be used; coarse dirt can easily be removed with a broom or high-pressure cleaner.

This will prevent deposits from forming in the gutter so that the water can drain properly, and any soiling from other metals must be removed immediately to prevent corrosion.
