Installing the DEVI temperature sensor

1. Determine the placement Position the sensor centrally between two heating cables, not directly on a cable.
2. Lay the protective tube Insert the temperature sensor into an empty tube (flexible pipe) so that it can be replaced if necessary. Seal the pipe opening at the end of the cable to prevent tile adhesive from entering.
3. Embedding in the mat Insert the sensor and pipe into the dimpled structure of the heating mat.
4. Preparing the connection Lead the sensor cable out of the mat and lay it flush with the thermostat.
5. Final assembly After wiring, cover the mat with tile adhesive and lay the floor covering as usual.

Areas of application for the DEVI temperature sensor

The DEVI temperature sensor is inserted into the heating mat together with the heating cable and connected to the thermostat. It measures the floor temperature directly at the source of the heat, ensuring precise control of the electric underfloor heating system.

The sensor can be used as a replacement or additional sensor and increases the safety and reliability of the entire system.

Typical application: Use in combination with DEVI thermostats to optimally control the heating output and prevent overheating or malfunctions – particularly suitable for tiled and natural stone floors.
