Areas of application for the aluminum worktop profile:

DURAL worktop profiles are versatile, but are mainly used in kitchens to protect the edges of worktops.

Due to their robustness and protective effect, they are also well suited to work areas where the edges can be subjected to high loads. They are therefore also frequently used in workshops and hobby rooms, where they not only protect the work surfaces from damage, but also protect the user from possible injuries.

How to process your DURAL worktop profile:

If necessary, shorten the profiles using the appropriate tools.

1. Selecting the height:
   Select the worktop profile 1 - 2 mm higher than the covering thickness, as the adhesive will always apply a little more itself.
2. Applying the tile adhesive:
   Apply the tile adhesive to the edge area using a notched trowel.
3. Attaching the DURAL worktop profile:
   Press the support profile fully into the adhesive bed and align the front edge over the worktop. Once aligned, apply a full layer of filler to the support leg.
4. Laying the covering:
   Then press the tiles or other covering firmly onto the worktop and align them so that they are flush with the top edge of the profile.

If required, molded parts can now be fixed to the profiles with adhesive.

The right care for your DURAL worktop profile:

The profiles are easy to care for and do not require any special treatment.

If necessary, they can simply be cleaned with mild cleaning agents and a soft cloth. Avoid aggressive chemicals so as not to damage the surface and the DURAL worktop profile will stay as good as new for a long time.
