Plastic drainage channel UD Pro

Installation instructions for the UD Pro plastic drainage channel:

In general, the UD Pro can be shortened as required. With the vertical drain, up to 6 m of channel may be installed per drain and with the horizontal drain, a maximum of 5 m of channel may be installed in one piece.

1. Excavating the foundation: A foundation at least 8 cm high and 14 cm wide is required for the UDP 100 and 13 cm high and 14 cm wide for the UDP 65.
2. Check completeness: Now check that all parts for the desired installation are present and lay them out on a straight and clean surface.
3. Determine the location of the drain: For a vertical drain, mark this on the back of the channel in the correct position using the drain support. Then saw out the marked hole with a hole saw. For horizontal drains, simply fix the drain support horizontally as an end piece.
4. Gluing system components: All parts can now be glued together with PVC-U adhesive. How the individual accessories are attached is noted again in the relevant article.
5. Preparing the foundation: Now prepare the foundation using concrete or a gravel bed.
6. Laying the channel system: Now lay the system in the foundation. Pull a concrete wedge along the channel, and once the foundation has hardened, any covering can be applied to the channel.

The drainage channel is extremely versatile for outdoor use. It can be used as a pool surround, for example, or placed around patio boundaries, and the UD Pro drainage channel is extremely stable and can withstand loads of up to 6-7 tons.

Care instructions for the UD Pro drainage channel plastic:

The drainage channel does not require any special care. It is sufficient to wipe the grating regularly with mild, non-abrasive cleaners to keep it clean.
