Installation of the flat shower drain

  1. Determine the position of the shower channel and drill dowel holes. Attach the support feet and, if necessary, decouple them acoustically.
  2. Adjust the height of the channel on the support feet and align it. Caution: The channel body must be level both lengthwise and crosswise.
  3. Connect the drain to the drainage system. Check the system for leaks.
  4. Underlay the drain and work the screed with a 2% slope towards the channel.
  5. Once the screed has dried, apply composite sealing to the wall and floor in the correct manner and incorporate the sealing sleeve of the channel unit. The composite sealing must be guided over the sealing sleeve of the shower channel.
  6. Apply tile covering.
  7. Then remove the protective film from the drain openings of the shower channel and insert the hair trap insert and grate.
  8. To clean, lift the grate with the removal aid, release the lock and remove the hair trap units.

The generally accepted rules of technology must be observed. Suitability in terms of mechanical and chemical resistance must always be checked in each individual case.
