Processing the DURAL stainless steel sloped shower profile

A hacksaw or an angle grinder (use a clean/new cutting disc) can be used to shorten the DURAL stainless steel slope wedge. Always cut at the highest point and seal the shower area beforehand. Products for this can be found in the bathroom sealing category.

  1. Select the correct height and side: Allow 1 - 2 mm more for the height than the thickness of the tile. Select the side facing the lowest point of the shower.
  2. Apply tile adhesive: The first step is to apply the tile adhesive to the waterproofing using a 4 x 4 mm notched trowel.
  3. Attach slope wedge: Press the slope wedge with perforated fixing leg into the fresh adhesive bed and align.
  4. Lay tiles: Align the adjoining tiles so that the top edge of the slope profile is flush with the tile. Maintain connection joints of 1.5 mm width to the profile.
  5. Filling connection joints: The free joint space is filled with grout.

Area of application of the DURAL slope profile:

The slope rail is used specifically in the construction of level-access showers. Here, it is an indispensable component for covering the sides of your level-access shower.

The right care for your DURAL slope profile:

Our slope wedges are designed for durability and do not require any special care. If necessary, we recommend cleaning them with a mild detergent and a soft cloth; please avoid abrasive cleaning agents so as not to damage the surface.
