Processing
Processing
Laying the impact sound mat SW14:
- Prepare the substrate:
The first step is to prepare the substrate properly. This should be dry and stable. Any levelling measures must be carried out beforehand. - Apply tile adhesive:
Apply the C2 tile adhesive to the primed substrate in sections using a 4 x 4 mm notched trowel. - Attach the mat:
Press the DURAL impact sound mat SW14, previously cut to size, into the adhesive with the printed side facing upwards. When doing so, offset neighbouring strips by at least 30 cm. - Tape over mat joints:
Once the adhesive has hardened, tape over the joints with at least 2 cm of masking tape. - Tile laying:
First apply an extensive contact levelling layer of tile adhesive C2 to the mat. Then lay the tiles ‘wet on wet’ with as few cavities as possible.
