Our high-quality sealing membrane ET-S meets exactly the requirements of DIN 18534-5 for composite sealing in interior spaces. With this reliable sealing membrane you get a product that meets the highest demands.
It is also ETA certified and has an AbP (general building authority test certificate).
The DURAL ET-S sealing membrane is a system component of our ETAG-tested sealing system for bathrooms and wet rooms. The sealing membrane seals the floor and wall and is glued overlapping at the joints with our DURAL sealing tape ET-S. DURABASE ET-S covers the complete sealing spectrum of surfaces exposed to industrial and splash water - from private bathrooms to public shower systems to commercial kitchens.

Areas of application for the DURAL ET-S sealing membrane:
The ET-S sealing membrane is mainly used in bathrooms and damp rooms to seal large areas on floors and walls.
It is also ideal for public shower facilities, commercial kitchens and wellness areas to achieve a reliable bonded seal.
The DURAL ET-S sealing membranes are approved up to water exposure class W3-1 and therefore cover the entire spectrum of sealing surfaces that come into contact with service water and splash water.

How to install the DURAL ET-S sealing membrane:
- Prepare the substrate:
First of all, ensure that the floor is free of dirt, stable and level. Leveling measures must be carried out before laying the mat. - Apply thin-bed mortar:
Now apply thin-bed mortar using a 4 x 4 mm notched trowel. Either hydraulically setting flexible mortar or quick-setting flexible adhesive (DIN EN 12004 /C2) can be used for this purpose. - Attaching the sheets:
Embed the cut sheets with the non-printed side fully into the adhesive. Then press out any air pockets. Ensure that mat joints overlap by at least 5 cm. The overlap must be glued watertight with DURAL ET-S sealing tape. - Sealing pipe connections, transition areas and corners with molded parts:
After applying the sealing membrane, the areas mentioned are sealed with the corresponding molded parts.
As soon as all components have been attached, you can start laying the tiles using the thin-bed method without waiting.
