DEVI heating cables
The DEVI 10T heating cable has been specially developed for integration into the CI-H decoupling mat. It is a robust, round two-core cable with full shielding and a high-quality PVC sheath.
The cable can be pressed into the dimpled structure of the mat in just a few simple steps using the Easy-Click system – simple, precise and secure. The heating output is 10 W/m, between 100 W and 1,700 W depending on the cable length.
The cables are durable, maintenance-free and come with a 20-year guarantee. Perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms.

Applications
Applications
Area of application DEVI heating cable
The DEVIcomfort 10T heating cable is laid in the dimpled structure of the DURABASE CI-H mat and forms the core of the electric surface heating system. The Easy-Click system allows the cable to be fixed in place without additional fastening materials, enabling quick and secure installation.
Depending on the laying distance, the heating output is adjusted to suit requirements – from gentle additional heating to full room heating. Thanks to its robust construction, 360° shielding and 20-year warranty, the cable is particularly durable and maintenance-free.
Typical application: Surface heating under tile and natural stone coverings in bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms, as well as in renovation projects with low installation heights.

Processing
Installation of DEVIcomfort heating cables
- Preparation
Check the substrate and lay the DURABASE CI-H mat correctly. Plan the cable route in advance to ensure even heat distribution. - Laying the heating cable
Click the heating cable (red) directly into the dimpled structure of the mat using the Easy-Click system. Lay the cable without crossings and observe the minimum bending radius (approx. 5 cm). - Power adjustment through laying distance
The closer the cables are laid, the higher the heating power. Example: With a distance of 4 studs, approx. 83 W/m², with a distance of 2 studs, up to 167 W/m². An overview table makes it easier to make the right choice. - Connecting the PTC thermistor
Run the PTC thermistor (black, 4 m) to the wall and lay it flush with the thermostat. Make sure that the sleeve connection is not in the screed or adhesive. - Sealing & covering
Seal the entire surface of the mat with flexible adhesive to fix the cable and sensor in place. Lay tiles or natural stone slabs using the buttering-floating method.
