Product description

Self-leveling DURAL pedestal MB:

The application area of the plate bearings of the MB series is outdoors, on balconies and terraces. Please note that the panels to be laid must have a minimum thickness of 2 cm.

The screw thread allows heights of 25 - 40 mm to be adjusted. With automatic slope compensation of up to 5%, they are self-leveling and allow easy adjustment to slightly uneven surfaces. The blue rubber plate on the DURAL self-leveling pedestal MB prevents the plates from slipping.

Choose the desired joint width between 2 mm and 4 mm to achieve the perfect result. All components of the system work according to the plug-in principle and are easy to configure.

You can find other systems in the category Pedestals.

Processing

Processing DURAL MB pedestal supports:

  1. Preparing the substrate:
The substrate must be load-bearing. Suitable substrates are e.g. concrete, wood or grit/gravel. When used in grit/gravel, 40 x 40 cm base plates must be installed. Depending on the building situation, the substrate must also be properly sealed in advance and, for example, a DR100++ drainage mat laid.
  2. Positioning the pedestals:
Start positioning the pedestals in a corner and adjust the height accordingly. Check the height for evenness using a spirit level.
  3. Laying the slabs:
Finally, lay the slabs.Depending on the slab size, a different number of bearings should be used per slab.

The lower bearing surfaces can be sawn off in the edge area so that they do not protrude to the side. To increase the height a little more, a maximum of two shims can be screwed in per bearing.
