Our DURAL gradient wedge for holding glass made of finely ground stainless steel is installed in floor-level showers. The profile can safely hold glass panes up to 12 mm thick to limit splashing water in your bathroom.

Areas of application for the slope rail with glass holder:
This rail is specially designed for installation in level-access showers. The glass holder of the wedge is suitable for panes with a maximum glass thickness of 12 mm.

Processing the DURAL glass support slope wedge:
If the DURAL glass support slope wedge needs to be shortened, a hacksaw or an angle grinder (use a new cutting disk) can be used to help. Always shorten it at the widest point and the shower area must be sealed beforehand. We offer products for this in the bathroom waterproofing category.
- Selecting the side:
Select the side facing the lowest point of the shower. - Applying the tile adhesive:
First apply the tile adhesive to the waterproofing using a 4 x 4 mm notched trowel. - Attaching the profile:
The profile is pressed into the fresh adhesive bed with the perforated fixing leg and aligned. - Fitting the tiles:
Press the subsequent tiles into the adhesive bed with connecting joints of 1.5 mm to the profile. - Filling the joints:
Fill the free joint space with grout.
The frame for the glass should be provided with silicone or suitable rubber seals before fitting the glass pane to ensure that the glass does not rest directly on the bare stainless steel and to fix it in place.
