Product description
DURAL tub sealing tape ET-S:
The tub sealing tapes ET-S meet the requirements of DIN 18534-5 for the composite sealing of interior spaces. With this product we offer an effective solution for optimally sealing shower and bathtubs.
With the ET-S tub sealing tape, silicone joints on bathtubs and shower trays are effectively protected against moisture migration.
It is attached between the edge of the tub and the wall and then tiled in. If small cracks form in the silicone joint, the tub sealing tape ET-S prevents moisture from penetrating the building structure and thus leads to greater safety with regard to water damage in the bathroom.
It is also equipped with a 2 cm butyl adhesive strip to keep installation as easy as possible.
Suitable for DURAL sealing membrane ET-S.

Applications
Applications
Application area of the ET-S tub sealing tape:
ET-S bathtub sealing tape is primarily used in bathrooms and wet rooms to seal the edges of showers and bathtubs or as a second water barrier behind the silicone joint.
The combination of materials results in an excellent bond with all waterproofing materials used under tiles, such as liquid foil, sealing slurries and reaction resin waterproofing.
ET-S tray sealing tapes are approved up to water exposure class W3-1 and therefore offer comprehensive coverage for sealed surfaces that may come into contact with process water and splash water.

The correct application of the DURAL ET-S tub sealing tape:
Our bathtub sealing tapes are equipped with a self-adhesive strip that makes them easy to attach to the relevant area.
For even stronger adhesion, we recommend using the system-compatible Dural adhesive sealant et-s, which enables optimum bonding.
