DURAL expansion joint profile made of stainless steel:
The DURAL expansion joint profile stainless steel is available in a variety of heights (3 to 30 mm) and is therefore suitable for different floor coverings. Natural expansion of the materials is compensated for by the profile, preventing cracks from forming. It can be used in combination with large format tiles and can be used in high traffic areas such as warehouses and shopping centers.
Made of high-quality V2A stainless steel, the profile is stable and durable. The DURAL stainless steel expansion joint profile protects your tile from tension and offers an attractive, subtle look. With this profile you protect your floor covering from cracks.
Choose the height of the profile 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of your tile.
You can find other versions in the category Expansion joint profiles.

How to install your DURAL expansion joint profile:
- Select the correct height:
The profile should be selected 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of your tile due to the tile adhesive, which is slightly thicker. The buffer ensures that you get a clean, flush tile finish. - Applying tile adhesive:
Remove dust and dirt from the substrate. Tile adhesive can then be applied to the appropriate area using a notched trowel. - Attaching the profile:
Now press the profile with the punched legs into the adhesive bed and align the profile. The leg is then completely embedded in the adhesive. - Laying the tile:
The tile can then be laid flush with the top edge of the profile and with a joint of 2 - 3 mm to the profile in the adhesive. - Filling the joint:
Finally, completely fill the joint between the tile and the profile with grout.
A hacksaw can be used to shorten the stainless steel expansion joint profile.
