The profile should be 1 - 2 mm higher than the thickness of your tile. This buffer must be taken into account so that the tile and profile can be aligned flush with each other. The reason for this is that the tile adhesive will be slightly raised. - Apply tile adhesive:
First remove dust and dirt from the substrate and then apply the tile adhesive with a notched trowel. - Attaching the DURAL square profile in brushed titanium aluminium:
The profile is then aligned with the punched leg in the adhesive bed and pressed in. Then embed the leg completely. - Attach the tile:
The tile is now pressed firmly into the adhesive and aligned flush with the top edge of the profile and a joint of 2 - 3 mm to the profile. - Close the joint:
The joint is then completely filled with grout.
If necessary, shorten the profiles, e.g. with a hacksaw.
